How it works
- Send whatever you've got. Address, module and count, inverter, main panel size and busbar rating, and how you're interconnecting. A sentence is enough. A photo of the main panel is enough.
- We build it and check it. The engine sizes the conductors and runs the code checks; a human opens all ten sheets and verifies them before anything leaves — including confirming which NEC edition your jurisdiction actually enforces.
- You get the package back. One business day, usually the same afternoon. Submit it as-is.
- We follow up on submittal day. If it clears first pass, we'd like to know. If it doesn't, the guarantee above applies.
Why we're doing it this way
Most permit-design software asks an installer to trust a tool they've never used with a job that's already sold, already scheduled, and already has a homeowner calling about it. That's a bad trade, and we're not going to pretend otherwise.
So we removed it. You don't have to trust the software — you're trusting a set that lands in your inbox, that you can read, check against the code sections printed on it, and submit or bin. If it's good, you'll know. If it isn't, you've lost an email.
The software is there when you want it. Nothing about this offer requires you to touch it.
Common questions
Who actually builds the set?
We do — using our own engine, then checking every sheet by hand before it goes out. You're not beta-testing anything.
What if my jurisdiction has local amendments?
Tell us the jurisdiction and we'll build to the edition and amendments it enforces. If you're not sure what it enforces, that's exactly the sort of thing we check anyway — see the permit requirements guides.
Can you work from an existing set?
Yes. Send the old set you're copying from and we'll build the new one off it. You can also run it through the free grader first to see what it would get flagged for.
Do I have to buy the software eventually?
No. Plenty of shops will only ever want the service. If you get to the point where you're sending several a month, the unlimited plan costs less than two sets — but that's your call to make, later.
